Local Value - Global Worth
The Cells That Cherish What They Have
What is it all about? I mean, so many people roam this piece of rock without really caring about the sense of the whole thing. It just seems enough for them to just live. Nobody appears to realize that they are being controlled by their own indifference. And nowadays indifference can be the greatest evil.
You see, we all take part in an organism. A natural organism in which billions of minds and human hands are at work, vast numbers are involved in currency transfers, trade investments, experience exchanges of unseen magnitudes all over this planet. The human being has been turned into a human uniot- every individual is now more like a cell in a body each with its own differences, specifications and precisse role in its society. Our globe has slowly turned into a mastermind with the neurological binds and finishes that we gave it. Consider the human brain a multidimensional web of ties and highways capable of carrying impulses and information and you will get something not very different from the Internet. Look at the blood that flows in the veins of each of us as a tool that distributes oxygen and energy and any desired substance to even our last single cell. It doesn't seem any different from the system of modern trade- from the industrialized bartering companies to the last local shop. All in all, we are a part of a giant being that we get to call civilization. We have one important distinctiveness though that makes us unlike with the regular human cell. And that is the power of free choice. You see, while a cell follows a previously schemed design, an instinct encoded genetically in it at the very time our first ancestors emerged from the herd of animals we, as free citizens have the power to change our world, to alter the very body we reside in provided we have the will and ingenuity to do so. You would ask, why hasn't our world changed- why is it still the same dump-hole, full of rotting desires, corruption, intrigues, crime and pollution. The answer to that couldn't be any harder.
A person is smart, people are wild raging animals, capable of tearing apart those who dare stand in the way of the mob, and you know it. The masses lack the understanding of their own power, so they choose leaders to control them, but even the brightest person can prove themselves ineffective when facing the opinions of millions. People must be persuaded to change themselves and their way of life and then to pursue a better world. We have tto change the way we think, we have to change the way we are. We simply do not cherish what we have - instead we look for even more. Even the smallest things can be lost untimely and grieved for. Valuing our local virtues is the only way of building something over them.
There is nothing more powerful than human potential. There is nothing sadder than the waste of one. Every community on this planet's surface has its heritage - its own group of national traditions that it tries to preserve. Keeping that proves to be the key to success. It is the foundation needed for a complete relationship with every other human being. When people forget who they are - their origin, their values and ambitions, they cut their link with the human race. Unfortunately the number of people like that expands more and more.
Things do not have to be so pessimistic though. Unlike the cancer in a human body the black sides of the human race can be reconverted by just showing them what they have missed, letting them stick to their birthright in order to make good in the world.
And after the lesson in anatomy, I'd like to sum up and say that my message today was respect what you have and learn to express yourselves, do not waste your talent and time in excessive thinking and caring about the response to your actions. That's just pointless. For you know - the virtues that we value today will rule the world tomorrow.
Малко отнесено и с доста добри идеи, които обаче си остават недоразвити, но за 17-годишен бива :)
